Empowerment through Agriculture

We help to develop the skills needed to make a difference. At the root of the issue is the lack of resources available to aspiring farmers, including basic equipment as well as agricultural trainers themselves. As a self-supported organization, we create jobs through agriculture and help communities grow their own food. We aim to provide farming supplies and incentivize agricultural training experts.

About the project

Starting point

Engaging with agricultural experts, we uncovered the most fundamental tools needed for aspiring farmers. This included determining the necessary time required for effective training and determining the crops in demand. Sustainable agriculture cultivates resilience, ensures food security, and promotes economic stability.

Support from local communities

Finding out the main enduring barriers to agricultural education, as well as the most essential requirements for community development in Haiti, is at the core of our mission. By collaborating with local stakeholders, we aim to provide the resources and knowledge needed to empower communities to grow their own food and achieve economic stability. Support from local communities is essential to overcoming these barriers and ensuring the success of our efforts.

End result

By listening, engaging, and understanding exactly what was needed to empower aspiring farmers in Sierra Leone, we were able to equip numerous individuals with the necessary skills and tools to succeed in sustainable agriculture. This empowerment leads to greater food security, resilience, and economic stability within their community.
